The backoffice has a simple structure, with pages that differ only slightly in appearance and functionality. This makes navigation easy even after a short training period and allows for targeted content management.
Navigation
At the top, the menu items, additional functions, and the currently active tenant (shop) are displayed.
| Menu Item | Description |
|---|
| Data Maintenance | Contains all functions for configuring settings and managing data. |
| Admin Functions | Displays different functions based on user permissions. Every user can access the “Checkers” to review search results, categories, styles (articles), and suggestions. |
| Statistics | Depending on permissions, users can access simple statistics such as all zero-result searches within a given period. |
| Tenant | Displays the currently selected tenant. If multiple tenants exist, users can switch between them. |
| User Name (/FIRSTNAME/ /LASTNAME/) | Displays the name of the logged-in user. |
| Logout | Logs the user out. It is recommended to log out after completing work. |
Standardized Elements
Many elements appear across multiple pages and retain the same meaning.
List Elements
| Element | Description |
|---|
| ”Add New /NAME/“ | Opens the input form to create a new synonym or replacement entry. |
| ”Status” | Indicates whether an entry is “active” or “inactive.” |
| Entries Per Page | Displays the current number of visible entries and the total number. Users can adjust how many entries appear per page. |
| Paging | Enables navigation to additional pages if available. |
| View | If multiple tenants exist in a cluster, this setting controls which tenants’ entries are visible. |
Elements in Lists
| Element | Description |
|---|
| Edit Action | Opens the input form to modify the selected element. |
| Delete Action | Marks the element as deleted. It can be restored with a click but is permanently removed only when the “Permanently Remove Deleted Entries” function is executed. |
| Deactivate Action | Marks the entry as “inactive,” making it temporarily unusable. |
| Comment Action | Allows users to add comments to an entry. |
Elements Outside Lists
| Element | Description |
|---|
 | New maintenance actions become active by default on the following day with the next data import of the flat file. In the test environment, they are immediately available upon clicking the button. |
 | Permanently deletes all entries that were previously marked as deleted. |
Import/Export Function
The import/export function is available on all pages under the “Data Maintenance” menu, except for “Filter-URLs” and “SEO Filter List.” A detailed description of the function and export files can be found in section 3.11 Import/Export Function.
| Element | Description |
|---|
 | Clicking this button navigates to the page for importing a list. |
 | Clicking this button generates an export list and redirects the user to a page with further actions. The export includes all tenants within the cluster (if multiple tenants exist). |
 | Clicking this button generates an export list, but only for the currently selected tenant. |
 | Clicking this button directly opens the browser’s download window. |
