Custom Development & Roadmap
Our platform is feature-rich, but we understand that every brand has unique requirements. We follow a flexible development philosophy: “Standard where possible, custom where necessary.”
If you miss a specific feature in our documentation, we offer two paths to implementation.
1. The Core Roadmap (Shared Features)
If a requested feature provides value to multiple partners on our platform, we may adopt it into our official roadmap.
- Cost: Typically covered by the platform license (no extra development cost for you).
- Availability: Once released, the feature becomes available to all tenants via a version update.
- Decision Process:
- You submit a feature request to your Product Manager.
- We evaluate the strategic value and demand across our client base.
- If approved, it is prioritized in our backlog.
2. Custom & Partner Solutions (Individual)
If you need a feature that is highly specific to your brand or urgent (skipping the roadmap queue), we can realize it as a custom project.
- Implementation:
- By Us: For deep system integrations, our core team can build it for you.
- By Partners: For specific modules (e.g., a unique AR viewer or a gamification tool), we collaborate with specialized agency partners who build the module specifically for your app instance.
- Cost: You bear the full development and maintenance costs.
- Ownership: The feature is activated exclusively for your app.
The Process (Draft)
- Request: You describe the business case and requirements.
- Feasibility Check: We check technical feasibility and impact on the core system.
- Quote: We (or a partner) provide a cost estimate for implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Development: The feature is built, tested, and integrated into your build configuration behind a Feature Toggle.
Bottom Line: Don’t hesitate to ask. Just because a feature isn’t listed here doesn’t mean it’s impossible. We are here to build the best shopping experience for your customers.
