Paragraphs
Our emp-Suite Drupal solution offers a wide range of different paragraph types, allowing you to flexibly design e-commerce optimized web layouts.
What are Paragraphs?
Paragraphs are a modern approach to content creation in Drupal. They enable a cleaner page structure and give editors more control over the design of their content. Instead of putting all content—including images and videos—into a single WYSIWYG field, editors can choose from predefined paragraph types, combine them freely, and arrange them as needed.
A paragraph can be anything: from a simple text block or image to complex, configurable elements like slideshows or accordions. The available paragraphs are centrally managed by web development and can be enabled for each content type as required.

Advantages of Paragraphs
- Flexible design options for editorial pages
- Content can be built, moved, and combined modularly
- Clean separation of content and layout—no need for inline styles or HTML snippets in the body field
- Paragraphs can be individually configured and extended
Example Uses for Paragraphs
- Text blocks with images
- Slideshows or videos between text sections
- Quotes, link boxes, or buttons as separate elements
- Accordions, tabs, galleries, or dynamic recommendations
How Paragraphs Work in Drupal
Each content type can be equipped with one or more paragraph fields. When creating or editing a page, editors select which paragraphs they want to use and can add as many elements as they like, arranging them as needed.
The management and display of paragraphs is handled through the familiar Drupal interfaces (“Manage fields,” “Manage display”).
